Sage & Sun Yoga Studio A quiet, intentional yoga practice for people who want to slow down.

About Sage & Sun Yoga Studio

Sunlit yoga studio interior with plants and neatly stacked props

We started Sage & Sun because the fast, loud energy of a typical gym studio never felt like the point of a yoga practice. Our founder, Maren Hale, spent a decade teaching in rooms built for intensity — mirrors, music, a constant push for more — before deciding to build something slower instead.

Our Space

The studio is built around natural light: tall windows let the morning sun move across the room through the first few classes of the day, and the palette throughout — warm sand, sage green, soft linen — is chosen to stay out of the way rather than demand attention. Plants sit in every corner. Mats, blocks and bolsters are laid out before you arrive.

Our Approach

  • Every class is paced by breath, not by the clock
  • Teachers offer modifications rather than one version of a pose
  • Class sizes stay small enough for individual attention
  • New students always get a free first class, no obligation attached

Who We Are

We're a small team of teachers who came to yoga for different reasons — recovery, stress, curiosity — and who now share one approach: slow down, breathe, and meet yourself where you are that day. Whether you come once a week or every morning, we'd like the hour you spend with us to feel like the calmest part of it.
